Responsible for performing dimensional layouts per customer print and specifications. This accomplished through the use of attribute and variable gaging methods, including but not limited to CMM and Vision gaging methods. Primary responsibility is establishing CMM programs to meet part / program requirements.

• Experience with quality systems and problem solving techniques.

• Experience with customer relations and customer service protocols.

• Expert at print interpretation.

Specific Responsibilities:
Receives requests for layouts, article sampling and part analysis against standards.
Receives requests for first and last article sampling and part analysis against standards
Logs, summarizes and reports non-conforming product occurrences.
Responsible for working directly with tooling and process engineers for conformance of product.
Responsible for 100% layouts on prototype, engineering changes and fix samples.
Responsible for establishing and proving out CMM programs.
Performs Gage R&R Studies.
Works with tooling and or outside sources to procure custom fixtures as needed to support metrology needs.
Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of measuring equipment as well as calibration.
Supports floor inspection (at the press or secondary operations) as required by the quality plan or Omega’s QMS.
Awareness of regulatory and customer requirements as it pertains to Omega’s clients; especially for Omega’s medical clients (ref. ISO13485).
