Maintenance C Technician
1st shift with some overtime
Pay Rate: $24 hr.
This position is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and general repairs associated with the machinery, equipment, and facilities. This position is also charged with completing project work and aiding in continuous improvement activities. Other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and general repairs associated with the machinery, equipment, and facilities. This position is also charged with completing project work and aiding in continuous improvement activities. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform routine scheduled maintenance
- Assist in routine maintenance on all machinery, equipment, and facilities as prescribed by the preventative maintenance program.
- Assist in responding to employee and departmental (e.g., Production, Shipping, Specialty) maintenance requests.
- Performance facility maintenance functions as needed and required.
- Perform breakdown repairs and maintenance
- Assist in breakdown maintenance for any machine, equipment, or part of the facility that is not working properly.
- Provide general assistance to the other maintenance technicians.
- Assist in the installation, removal, or repositioning of machinery and equipment.
- Assist with the retrieval of parts, when possible, from the maintenance shop.
- Maintain the Maintenance Shop and Stock Room / Housekeeping
- Assist in the maintenance of spare parts inventory.
- Generate requisition requests for needed parts and supplies; seek approval from the Maintenance Manager.
- Perform housekeeping duties in the general maintenance and storage areas as needed and required.
- Continuous Improvement
- Complete any training as required by the company and/or other departments to include, but not limited to, Human Resources, Quality/Safety, and Maintenance.
- Participate in TPS activities, including Kaizen events, as needed and required.
Qualifications
Benefits:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years’ experience in the industry field or related industry.
- Must possess knowledge of mechanical and electrical safety.
- Must be able to understand basic mechanical workings.
- Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak English.
