Knowledge of SQF, GMP’s, SOP’s, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirements.
Report any/all food safety or food quality issues immediately to supervision or QA.
Perform related duties as assigned by production lead or other leadership.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Assist production lead with changeovers as required (including moving materials, equipment, etc.).
Must enter all batches in Plex when mix is complete.
Lift, dump, and mix all dry and liquid ingredients into mixer and dump station.
Read and follow recipes and enter data into the Plex system for inventory control.
Utilize HMI / PLC to manage batching / mixing system.
Check viscosity by using measuring device and stopwatch.
Check batter deposit weights, batter temperature, and other parameters as specified on documentation.
Monitor the griddle and oven to ensure quality product.
Able to lift 50 to 70 lbs. Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as required.
Ensure HMI / PLC is setup correctly for all mixing stations.
Ensure mixers and pre-scalers are using correct tools (color coded, proper tools, etc.).
Work with Shift Supervisor / Manager to ensure adequate staff are trained in mixing / pre-scaling positions.
Develop means to reduce scrap and waste associated with mixing areas.
Able to perform all tasks assigned to Lead Mixer, Mixer, Pre-Scaler
Perform related duties as assigned by management.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Ensure all ingredients are brushed/wiped and inspected before being used.
Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce waste.
Rework all product as needed, do not waste product.
Notify production lead of any waste issues and/or machine malfunctions.
Clean up line continuously throughout shift.
Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as required.
Ability to troubleshoot any issues in the mixing operation.

Physical and Safety Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and all other food safety requirements.
Complies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s) requirements.
Reports any food safety problems or potentially unsafe practices/conditions to lead or supervisor.
Constant walking and standing on hard concrete service.
Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, lifting, and climbing.
Position will require working in very hot and cold conditions.
Other conditions include flour dust, wet floors, occasional smoke, and fumes if product burns.
